About the Role

This Senior Mobile App Development Leadership position is an opportunity to spearhead the creation and maintenance of Coloplast's mobile applications, ensuring seamless digital experiences for our consumers and healthcare professionals worldwide. In this role, you will work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate global features into actionable development plans. Additionally, you will provide high-level estimates for large-scale features or future projects when necessary.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Leads the development of all mobile app-related functionalities in line with the digital roadmap for Coloplast customers.
  2. Promotes technical direction for Mobile development in collaboration with Architects and Technical Product Owners.
  3. Delivers working, high-quality code.
  4. Leverages expertise to lead major refactorings when required.
  5. Mentors and leads other mobile app developers, ensuring the quality of delivered solutions aligns with program guidelines for mobile app development, which you will help maintain to ensure apps are stable, performant, and secure.
  6. Fosters alignment with lead backend developers and architects to guarantee cohesion between apps and backend on how they interact.
  7. Assists in troubleshooting and mitigating production issues through crash analytics or backend monitoring.
  8. Ensures the highest standard of quality for delivered features.
  9. Documents as needed.
Requirements
  1. 7+ years of experience in mobile app development in Kotlin.
  2. Proficiency in both Android and iOS development.
  3. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
  4. Experience with Jetpack Compose.
  5. Experience with Swift UI.
  6. Extensive experience in integrating with multiple backend systems over various protocols.
  7. In-depth understanding of software architecture within the context of mobile apps.
  8. Experience as a lead on larger development teams.
  9. Experience with Bluetooth connectivity.
  10. Excellent collaboration skills – must closely collaborate with Product Owners to ensure requirements are descriptive and ready for development.
  11. Ability to effectively convey technical challenges to non-technical people – by participating in technical discussions with other stakeholders of varying technical skill levels when needed, to support the team.
  12. High level experience in crash analytics tools.
  13. Fluent in spoken and written English with highly developed communication skills.
