We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Lake Engineer to support our enterprise applications and drive innovation in cloud-based database engineering platforms.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


• Design and develop end-to-end Cloud Data Lake solutions, including data ingestion, data modeling, and data distribution.


• Build data integrations between on-prem and cloud-based systems, ensuring seamless data flow and high-quality data.


• Develop high-volume data ingestion components and solutions to collect data from various sources, leveraging industry best practices and advanced technologies.


• Manage and utilize appropriate tools in cloud data lake development and deployment, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud infrastructure to support current and future business needs.


• Participate in technical design, application build, configuration, unit testing, and production deployment, ensuring high-quality and reliable solutions.


• Ensure all cloud solutions exhibit higher levels of cost efficiency, performance, security, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills:


• Development experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex applications, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.


• Proficiency in Oracle RDBMS and Python/Java/SQL coding, with experience in cloud data migration on AWS using Databricks.


• Hands-on experience with cloud data migration, data modeling, and database design, with a strong focus on performance tuning.


• Experience in building systems using modern, scalable, resilient, cloud-native architectures, with a focus on data security and compliance.


• Strong knowledge of cloud security in AWS/Azure, specifically IAM roles and policies, security groups, and encryption keys.


• Experience with optimizing database performance, scalability, ensuring data security and compliance, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.


• Experience with event-based, micro-batch, and batched high-volume and high-velocity transaction and data processing systems.


• Proficiency with CICD and DevOps, with a focus on cloud-based continuous integration and delivery.

Education & Qualifications:


• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent field, with a strong focus on cloud computing and data engineering.
