Industrial Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer to join our team at Air Liquide Polska Sp. z o.o. in Poland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability and connectivity of OT systems, organizing OT services, and supporting sites in execution of maintenance and efficiency projects. Additionally, the candidate will lead retrofit and extension projects and support larger projects with expertise.

• Ensure the availability and connectivity of OT systems, including control systems and connectivity, firewalls, and network structure.
• Organize OT services, including DCS for production, Scada/MVS, remote connection systems, alarming systems, and back-up systems.
• Support sites in execution of maintenance, applying maintenance strategy, and efficiency projects.
• Lead retrofit and extension projects and support larger projects with expertise.
• Support troubleshooting, repair, and root cause analysis of equipment in plants over the whole lifecycle.

• Completed engineering studies in automation engineering (instrumentation and control systems) or comparable.
• At least 3 years of experience in the chemical, process, or oil & gas industry.
• Good knowledge of DCS systems Yokogawa, Siemens, and/or FoxBoro.
• Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols (MODBUS, OPC).
• Professional experience in maintenance or (partial) project management in the field of Control & Instrumentation, IT/OT.
• Experience in the field of Cyber Security would be beneficial.
• Very good written and spoken English and Polish.
• Car driving license and willingness to travel on business trips.
• Experienced in the use of common PC applications.
• Strong initiative, diplomatic skills, persuasiveness, and assertiveness.
• Experience in the field of Functional Safety (IEC61508/IEC61511).
