As a Technical Support Specialist at AmRest Holdings SE, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our GMS suite of applications. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting Internal KPMG Client Implementation Team in configuring these applications, as well as researching, diagnosing, and resolving application and configuration issues.

Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring application performance, proactively addressing potential problems, and working closely with Development, Quality and Infrastructure Teams to implement continuous improvements and updates. You will also develop and enforce governance strategies to help streamlining business processes and technical standards.

To excel in this position, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, comprehensive knowledge of software architecture, and solid understanding of cloud infrastructure. Proficient communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both business users and technical developers, are also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Application Support Engineer or Software Engineer.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of software architecture, including web application technology and object-oriented programming
  • A strong focus on Continuous Improvement and flow optimization.
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, including PaaS, API management, and log analysis.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both business users and technical developers.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in both team settings and distributed environments.
