We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team in Warsaw. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for driving indirect tax compliance and reporting activities for multiple markets in the EU.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage indirect tax compliance processes, including Intrastat returns, VAT registration, and other related tasks.
- Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with EU and local tax requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external service providers and tax authorities.
- Identify and mitigate indirect tax risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for process improvements.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or Law, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in indirect tax compliance and reporting, preferably with multinational corporations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and compliance, and effective stakeholder management skills.
