Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for monitoring carrier performance and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor carrier performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Analyze shipping data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and freight rates with carriers to optimize transportation costs
  • Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, supply chain, and customer service) to improve delivery performance
  • Resolve carrier-related issues, including delays, damages, and billing discrepancies
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for carrier operations
  • Maintain compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
  • Implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance carrier operations
  • Manage carrier onboarding and ensure smooth communication between stakeholders

About You

  • You have at least 4 years experience, ideally within a IT Business Analyst / Project Manager or Operations Management role
  • You have good interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes
  • You have working knowledge of BI system and Financial Management
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
  • You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
