Job Title: Supplier Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Grafton Recruitment Sp. z o.o. in Krakow. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the manufacturability of our products and collaborating with suppliers to achieve our quality and cost goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support product engineers in the design phase to ensure product manufacturability and collaborate with suppliers to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of engineering drawing specifications.
  • Work closely with tool designers to create new, more effective dies to replace outdated tooling and conduct technical evaluations of new stamping suppliers to determine their manufacturing capacity and capabilities.
  • Oversee the supplier development and qualification process for new goods, including the approval of supplier process papers and process capability studies.
  • Provide mentorship and metal stamping training to the Supplier Performance Engineering teams and retain cutting-edge stamping expertise through conferences and research.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in stamping processes, including tool and die design and stamping industry design standards.
  • Experience in the nuclear or allied energy sector is preferred, and proficiency in communication across various fields and roles is essential.
  • Very good knowledge of English language and a proactive, self-driven approach to work and risk management are required.
  • A respectful negotiation and conflict resolution style, an inquisitive mindset, and a never-ending desire to learn and grow are also essential.
  • Availability to travel 25% of the work time is necessary.
