Job Overview:

This role is part of the Global Project Management Office that focuses on building a Continuous Improvement culture within the Financial Solution Center (FSC) in EMEA. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and sustaining overall continuous improvement and lean manufacturing programs within the FSC.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all continuous improvement-related activities/initiatives within the FSC.
  • Lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and promote cultural changes in the FSC using TE Operating Advantage (TE tailored CI tools & program), CI tools, and principles.
  • Collaborate with the FSC leadership to develop comprehensive CI strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Educate and train FSC personnel on the use and practice of continuous improvement methodology and tools.
  • Partner with the FSC Management Team to identify improvement opportunities within current functional processes with an emphasis on improving service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Automation Team in the region to ensure that projects identified are aligned with the prioritization and goals of the FSCs.
  • Select, scope, and prioritize process improvements projects based on resource and budget requirements.
  • Lead functional or project teams in executing projects and provide guidance during project execution.
  • Analyze the impact of process changes undertaken as requested by management.
  • Monitor and report progress of continuous improvement initiatives within the FSC.
  • Manage projects or initiatives within the region or globally as assigned by the PMO or FSC Management.
  • Maintain regular communication with other CI Managers in other FSCs to promote collaboration and teamwork.
  • Communicate effectively with external/internal customers at all levels and help them learn, understand, adjust, and grow with the change.
  • Deploy TEOA requirements to all FSC personnel and ensure achievement of required Star Level Requirements targets; Promote TEOA success stories to inspire engagement in TEOA across the FSC.

About You:

The ideal candidate should possess 5-7 years of experience in similar positions or in project management working on process improvement/six sigma/lean initiatives. Additionally, 2+ years of experience in managerial positions, ideally in CI Management or Project Management, is required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing CI projects related to Finance & Accounting process and Kaizen events facilitation ideally in Shared Services environments.
  • Experience in working with different technologies, such as SAP/Celonis/High Radius/Tableau/Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles, Six Sigma, and Change Management: Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project management methodology (PMP, Prince, Agile, or equivalent) is an asset.
  • A proven track record of successfully implemented business process improvement in SSC/BPO/administrative functions in complex, global, matrix organizations.
  • Capability to work independently and apply analytical skills to accounting processes.
  • Ability to leverage ERP to ensure service quality and operational excellence.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Completed degree in higher education (preferably Industrial Engineering/Finance/Accounting/Business Administration).
