Job Title: IT Technology Senior Consultant

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the product vision and strategy of our IT Operations Management landscape, used by thousands of users worldwide. You will collaborate closely with business owners, product owners, architects, and other experts in an agile environment.

In this role, you will focus on the long- and short-term product vision and contribute to its implementation by ensuring product delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Defining the product vision and strategy based on market research, ServiceNow product releases, and customer needs analysis.
  2. Managing the product roadmap, creating and maintaining a roadmap that outlines the features and capabilities to be delivered over time.
  3. Developing the business case together with stakeholders and measuring the value generated by implementation.
  4. Working with the area product owner to prioritize features and capabilities based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
  5. Supporting the area product owner in designing features, defining the smallest possible feature that will still bring value to stakeholders.
  6. Knowing and defending ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities.
  7. Assessing whether features affect the upgradability of the platform.
  8. Supporting Stream in preparing business go-lives.
  9. Supporting Stream in assessing feature completeness and quality by testing from business requirements according to feature acceptance criteria.
  10. Aligning LoB requirements with NOW Standards.
  11. Monitoring and measuring the success of the product.

Requirements

  • Academic degree (Bachelor or Master) in business informatics or information technology or related fields.
  • Experience in ServiceNow Platform is mandatory.
  • Ability to articulate a clear and compelling product vision that aligns with the company's overall strategy.
  • Define product roadmaps based on the product vision, outlining major features and milestones for the product.
  • Prioritize features and requirements based on business value and customer needs, closely aligning with the development team to ensure the highest-priority features are delivered first.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface with different stakeholders across the organization.
  • Agile mindset and comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
  • Responsible for the overall success of the product, with a focus on continuous improvement to identify opportunities for improvement while ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
  • Knowledge of Agile (SAFe) implementation methods is a plus.
  • Leader and team player, with excellent coordination skills, including conflict management.
  • Strategic thinking, strong problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Quick learner, passionate, motivated, and self-managed.
  • Competent in English (spoken and written).
  • 5+ years of professional working experience in architecture development or comparable.
  • Experience in application delivery processes, procedures, and key metrics.
