Job Title: Offshore Wind Operations and Maintenance Lead

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Operations and Maintenance Lead to join our team in Sassnitz, Germany. As a key member of our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team, you will be responsible for supporting O&M activities as an Operations and Logistics Engineer for the Arkona Offshore Wind Farm operated by our Partner – RWE.

During this secondment, you will gain valuable experience which will afterwards be utilised for the creation of the O&M strategy and building up the Equinor Poland team and processes for Polish Baltic Sea Offshore Windfarms (Bałtyk II and III). You will, upon your return to Poland, become an integral part of Equinor Operations & Maintenance senior team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support O&M activities as an Operations and Logistics Engineer for the Arkona Offshore Wind Farm
  • Gain valuable experience and exposure to later be utilised for the creation of the O&M strategy for Polish Baltic Sea Offshore Windfarms (Baltyk II and III)
  • Deliver a continuous monitoring of Arkona Offshore Wind Farm O&M activities performed by Service Provider on site in close collaboration with operations personnel on a daily basis
  • Create periodic reports presenting results of observations, proposals of improvements and all other conclusions made regarding Offshore Wind Farm O&M processes
  • Lead discussions between Service Providers and Company regarding potential improvements and optimization of: planning, coordination and performing service activities on site
  • Support implementation and utilization of the agreed improvements for offshore wind turbines and BoP (Balance of Plant) infrastructure maintenance processes into Equinor's Polish Bałtyk offshore wind portfolio

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading operations and maintenance, or construction activities in the wind sector, ideally within offshore wind however onshore wind experience will also be considered
  • Strong interest in renewable energy and modern team management methodologies
  • An individual that is focused on cooperation and team work, and who is able to communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders
  • A strong commercial acumen and business mindset
  • Fluency in English and Polish language, German language skills shall are beneficial but not essential
  • A willingness to relocate to Germany for the duration of the secondment, which is expected to be 1 year
