**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Lease Accountant to join our team at Ecolab. As a key member of our Global Business Services, you will play a critical role in preparing reports and analyses, administering lease contracts, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

**About the Role:

  • Prepare reports and analyses in accordance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16, providing insights that inform business decisions.
  • Administer lease contracts using CoStar software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Validate input data for lease templates received from Ecolab organization, guaranteeing their integrity.
  • Monitor KPIs for Lease Accounting processes within Global Business Services, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate internal Lease Accounting controls to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and Global Business Services to ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as required, supporting decision-making across the organization.
  • Respond to queries from Local Organization, providing expert guidance on lease-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain templates for Big Vendors Leases, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
  • Communicate with global stakeholders regarding data completeness, facilitating effective collaboration.

**Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent accounting courses.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a positive approach to introducing new solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with CoStar software.
  • Effective communication and cooperation skills, with the ability to work in a multinational environment.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during month-end close, if necessary.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and analytical abilities.
