Financial Accountant Job Description

ZEN is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily bookkeeping and reconcile balance sheets on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Analyze and adjust accounts as required to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed.
  • Support the business with task resolution and data collection related to PSP transactions.
  • Post bank statements, check posed bank accounts records, and reconcile records with general ledger accounts and client bank accounts.
  • Record data into accounting systems related to bank transactions and reconcile bank data from bank statements.
  • Maintain up-to-date accounting records, including invoices, payroll, prepayments, accruals, and other adjustments.
  • Prepare various reports for management and financial reporting.
  • Reconcile accounting accounts to performed transactions and participate in the month-end closing process.
  • Participate in the circulation of accounting documents, archiving, and checking in terms of formal and accounting.
  • Data reconciliation between reports and systems.
  • Participate in segregation and safeguarding processes and quarterly and annual audits.
Requirements:
  • Higher Economic Education with a major in accounting and finance or related field.
  • Experience in banking, fintech, or EMIs is an advantage.
  • Working understanding of accounting GAAPs.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel.
  • English language at a level of B2/C1 is mandatory.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to assimilate and present accurate and timely data to management in both informal and formal situations.
