Job Title: Senior Accountant

Join Ecolab, a leading global provider of solutions and services for the food safety, health and hygiene, and sustainability markets, as a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial support to the company's European operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with US-GAAP and Swiss statutory requirements.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Global Business Services (GBS) team and other COEs to drive financial process improvements and optimize financial performance.
  • Lead or support financial projects, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and submit tax reports, including quarterly tax forecasts and detailed year-end tax reporting.
  • Support tax audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit treasury reports, including monthly USD and GBP forecasts, and collaborate with the Corp. Treasury team to drive hedging strategies.
Requirements:
  • 3-7 years of experience in international accounting, finance, and/or tax, ideally with large MNE or 'big 4 audit' companies.
  • Solid analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Excel and SAP, with a positive, open-minded, and proactive attitude.
  • Good English written and verbal skills, with German skills an advantage.
