Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fund Expense Accountant to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be responsible for monitoring all fund expense processing functions, verifying and reviewing the work performed by the EMEA Central Expense Team, and assisting the Team Supervisor in all aspects of their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform calculations and apply fees, expenses, and rebates to accounting accounts within the specified time and with the required accuracy.
  • Consider the impact of daily expenses on the value of the fund.
  • Implement changes in the budget and schedules of fees and expenses of investment funds in accounting systems based on received instructions.
  • Cooperate with other departments within the company and supervisory departments to obtain appropriate baseline information, solve problems, and eliminate accounting discrepancies.
  • Document performed activities and prepare a checklist.
  • Deliver results in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Very good computer skills, including practical knowledge of spreadsheets and text editing.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Ability to independently organize working time and work under time pressure.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles.
