Job Title: Expense Administration Supervisor

At Brown Brothers Harriman, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expense Administration Supervisor to join our team. As an Expense Administration Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day provision of Expense Administration services, working closely with the Expense Administration Team Leader to allocate tasks and workload to team members, and ensuring the timely and high-quality preparation of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the preparation of monthly/quarterly deliverables, including budgets, TER, VAT filing, fund events, and other reporting.
  • Review all daily work performed by the team for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with current policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with clients/key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Act as a key client contact, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client queries.
  • Coach and develop team members, providing feedback via periodic meetings and the firm's performance appraisal process.
  • Assist in projects within the Expense Administration Department, including standardization and workload optimization to improve efficiency, quality, and accuracy of deliverables.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Primary degree in accounting/banking and finance/economics-related discipline.
  • Previous experience in expense administration, accounting, or finance.
  • Prior experience in managing a team.
  • Prior experience in investment funds industry will be an asset.
  • Strong reviewing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and complete a variety of projects simultaneously.
  • Highly computer literate with strong Excel and Word skills.
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
