Job Title: Environmental Project Manager

Ramboll is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Project Manager with multiple years of experience to join an environmental team based in Warsaw office. We invite you to bring your energy, professionalism, and experience with environmental projects into play as you support our growing office and contribute to innovative and high-quality environmental solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Participation in domestic and foreign environmental due diligence assessment projects (e.g., Phase I Environmental Site Assessments), health and safety, environmental permitting and compliance, site investigations (Phase II) and remediation projects.
  • Project management and managing of medium-sized project teams.
  • Developing proposals, maintaining good relationship with clients, provide support in driving sales and bringing new opportunities.
  • Active cooperation with entire team in Poland and other Ramboll branches around the world.
  • Participation in business trips (domestic and foreign).

Our Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental protection, waste management, earth sciences or in a related field; advanced degree preferred (Master of Science).
  • Experience in environmental due diligence assessment projects (e.g., Phase I Environmental Site Assessments), health and safety, environmental permitting and compliance, site investigations (Phase II) and remediation projects.
  • Solid understanding of Polish environmental law and regulations and documented practical experience in relations with administrative authorities, regulatory experience related to industrial and commercial facilities.
  • Experience in EIA, ESIA, ESG, waste management, LCA, will be an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in MS Office, ArcGIS and graphics programs (e.g. CorelDraw).
  • Fluency in both Polish and English (upper intermediate and above), with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment; additional language will be an advantage (e.g. German).
  • Proven experience in medium to large size projects' management with focus on building high-performing teams and tracking project profitability (project finance).
  • Ability to work as a part of a team.
  • Experience in business development and client management.
  • Readiness to work at the Clients' sites - a few days a month – site visits, audits and field work. Driving license category B is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, high responsiveness, willingness to present during conferences will be a plus.
  • Understanding of consulting business methodologies and best practices, resistance to stress.
