Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least +5 years of commercial experience in developing web applications using PHP.
  • Strong experience with PHP 8+, Symfony, DDD, Microservices Architecture, and REST API.
  • Practical knowledge of OOP, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
  • Experience working with databases such as MySQL and MariaDB.
  • Good understanding of architecture & software design.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Effective Communication and Teamwork.
  • Fluent in English (B2) language.

Nice to Have: While not essential, experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript is welcome. Knowledge of Scrum and the German language is also a plus.

Your Responsibilities: As a Senior PHP Developer, you will:

  • Develop and maintain software applications following the best engineering standards.
  • Write high-quality and maintainable code, including OOP and Clean Code principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, DevOps, Product Owners, and Architects.
  • Design and implement services considering security, scalability, and performance aspects.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and bug-fix reported issues, refactoring if needed.
  • Test the implemented code, writing and maintaining unit, functional, and integration tests.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation.
