Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Database Security Expertise Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our database systems. If you have a passion for database security and leadership, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure Configuration Management: Define secure configuration baselines for database management system software, including Oracle, Db2, SAP ASE, SQL Server, Db2 z/OS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Teradata, and HADOOP.
  • Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts: Work with database technical subject matter experts to agree on secure configuration baselines and develop checks for compliance scans.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with database security, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with stakeholders across the organization to understand their security needs and expectations.
  • Capability Strategy: Define and maintain a capability strategy, supported by Enterprise Architecture, Security Architecture, and Control Owners, in response to business strategies, regulator expectations, technology advancements, best practices, and threat actor evolution.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of professionals to achieve strategic objectives, prioritize workloads, and ensure effective communication among team members.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience with multiple database technologies, including Oracle, Db2, SAP ASE, SQL Server, Db2 z/OS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Teradata, and HADOOP.
  • Demonstrated Skills: Proven expertise in database platform security, with a strong understanding of Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience leading a technical team, with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and delegate tasks.
  • Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication skills, customer-centric consultancy approach, analytical and problem-solving skills, and adaptability to changing situations.
