As a Senior Audit Manager, you will be entrusted with developing and executing a comprehensive Audit Plan, guiding complex audit activities for a specific business area at a regional or country level.

Working closely with the Audit team, you will ensure the global audit plan aligns with strategic objectives and regulatory expectations, prioritizing risk management and control effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading a team of Internal Audit professionals, overseeing their development, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  2. Delivering high-quality audit reports, ensuring timely completion, and providing actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  3. Coordinating reviews for various types of audits, including complex ones, and reviewing Business Monitoring Quarterly Summaries.
  4. Collaborating with senior stakeholders on business initiatives and change projects, offering expert advice and support.
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry developments, integrating new technologies, and refining audit processes.
  6. Evaluating report findings, recommending corrective actions, and suggesting innovative solutions to mitigate risks and enhance controls.
  7. Working closely with senior leaders to identify and address emerging business risks and challenges.
  8. Exercising sound judgment in decision-making, balancing business needs with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of compliance and integrity.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Compliance Audit or Compliance Testing, preferably in Markets, Services, or Banking areas.

Requirements include:

  1. Deep knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  2. Desirable: related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or similar).
  3. Proven track record in business leadership, team management, and talent development.
  4. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  5. Familiarity with process improvements and innovative audit techniques.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Capacity to navigate diverse teams and environments.
  8. Effective negotiation and influencing skills.
