Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Expert Lead to join our team at Hitachi Energy Services in Kraków.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that requires expertise in penetration testing, security policies, procedures, and tools. The successful candidate will lead a small group of penetration testers and contribute to the development of the organization's security strategy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Managing the penetration testing queue, coordinating with managers, penetration testers, and engineers.
  • Reviewing security reports, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending remediation strategies.
  • Leading a team of penetration testers, providing guidance, and mentoring junior team members.
  • Continuously improving security services and processes according to industry best practices and standards.
  • Developing, maintaining, and enforcing security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Participating in the development of the organization's security strategy and contributing to its implementation.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT security, particularly in penetration testing, as well as knowledge of security policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in project management, including tracking progress, reporting results, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Polish.
  • Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications in IT security and project management are highly desirable.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately PLN 120,000 - 150,000 per year, depending on experience.
