About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Kafka Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux operations, automation via Ansible, and a strong focus on driving platform advancements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for running and managing our Kafka Enterprise Platform, working closely with projects in Germany and collaborating with a mixed team from Poland and Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solving day-to-day support issues, incidents, and problems
  • Working with various business and technical teams to provide and enhance Kafka services
  • Systems and performance monitoring, including trend analysis and respective improvements
  • Regular review and advancement of Kafka services and automation
  • Prioritizing and handling workload effectively
  • Assisting on-call services
Requirements
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) at minimum B2 level combined with strong communication abilities
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, system administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of working experience as a Linux Administrator
  • Knowledge of automation, scripting, CICD, and container platforms
  • Administrative experience with RedHat Linux and providing IT infrastructure services
  • A drive to learn as much as you can
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
