Senior Automation QA Specialist for Mobile Games

Are you looking for a new challenge in the mobile game development industry? We are seeking a Senior Automation QA Specialist with basic C# and Unity knowledge to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our games.

This role will report to the Head of Production. As a key member of our production team, you will work closely with developers, designers, and other teams to automate testing processes, identify and resolve issues, and contribute to delivering top-notch gaming experiences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile games using C#.
  • Implement test automation frameworks for Unity-based games.
  • Execute manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality releases.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Perform functional, exploratory, regression, usability, performance, and compatibility testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard tools.
  • Analyze game design specifications and provide feedback on potential issues.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and designers to ensure smooth communication and efficient issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in QA testing, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and software development processes.
  • Experience with mobile game testing (iOS and Android platforms).
  • Basic knowledge of C# programming for writing simple test scripts.
  • Experience with Unity game engine and debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a structured approach to testing.
