Akamai's Infrastructure Security division is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to drive strategy and development for leading DDoS protection solutions.

This role requires technical expertise, collaboration skills, and a strong understanding of infrastructure security. The ideal candidate will have +10 years of experience in infrastructure security or related cybersecurity fields and possess analytical, communication, and leadership skills to navigate market trends and customer needs for innovative solutions.

About the Role:

  • Define and execute product strategy aligning with customer needs, market trends, and company vision.
  • Serve as a technical product expert guiding teams on product architecture, features, and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and support teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful delivery of security solutions.
  • Translate customer needs, market research, and tech trends into actionable product development plans.
  • Build better customer relationships, advocate for their needs, and support sales efforts and escalations.
  • Analyze competitor landscape and market trends to keep product roadmap up-to-date.

About You:

  • Have +10 years of experience in infrastructure security or related cybersecurity fields.
  • Hold a solid understanding of key computer networking concepts, including IP routing, BGP, DNS, TLS, and HTTPS.
  • Be able to translate complex technical and business requirements into clear product roadmaps and development plans.
  • Have experience collaborating with engineering, sales, and operations teams, presenting to executives, and managing customer escalations.
  • Possess analytical, communication, and leadership skills to navigate market trends and customer needs for innovative solutions.

What We Offer:

  • $180,000 - $220,000 per year salary range.
