We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Data Architect to join our team at Holisticon Connect. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing cutting-edge data solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

The Role:

We are looking for a talented Cloud Data Architect to lead our data warehouse initiatives. As a key stakeholder, you will be responsible for:

  • Data Warehouse Strategy:** Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant data warehouses using cloud technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, and Matillion.
  • Dimensional Modeling:** Develop and maintain dimensional data models that optimize data access, storage, and performance.
  • ETL Development:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using both low-code and high-code environments.
  • Stakeholder Management:** Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into actionable data solutions, and communicate technical decisions effectively.
  • Technical Leadership:** Drive technical enhancements, mentor junior team members, and promote best practices within the data engineering team.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in Cloud Data Architecture and Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, Snowflake, or Matillion.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in dimensional modeling and handling data storage and access.
  • Hands-on experience with both low-code and high-code ETL tools.
  • Basic understanding of Git for code management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to gather and clarify requirements effectively.
  • Fluency in English (C1) to work seamlessly in an international environment.
