Data Architect for Master Data Consolidation

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team in Gdańsk, Warsaw, Łódź. This is an excellent opportunity to work on Master Data Management as the Golden Source for Customer and Counterparty Data.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in relational database management systems (RDBMS), particularly SQL and Oracle. They will also possess a good understanding of data management disciplines, including data governance, quality assurance, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance business ownership for data by engaging with business areas in the work.
  • Establish a single trusted source for Master & Reference data, consolidating relevant data from multiple domains and sources.
  • Eliminate alternative data sources by capturing key business needs.
  • Create product visions describing the target state for data in the new source.
  • Design robust yet flexible business data models for each data area and harmonize the data.
  • Implement data governance and establish a recipe for the new data source.
  • Set up data quality assurance for the new data source.
  • Configure data life cycle management for the new data source.
  • Simplify and automate related E2E business processes together with business areas.
  • Expose data to consumers via standard API/Kafka interface.
  • Retire irrelevant data and find a new home for data not under MDM team responsibility in the future.
  • Prepare for decommissioning of legacy Master and Reference data system MDN.

  • Knowledge of Apache Kafka as a distribution channel.
  • Basic understanding of application programming interfaces (API).
