About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our Master Data Management (MDM) project. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing business ownership for data, establishing a single trusted source for Master & Reference data, and eliminating alternative data sources.

The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge in relational database management systems (RDBMS), preferably SQL and Oracle. They will also have good understanding of data management as a discipline, with some experience in creating product visions, developing robust business data models, and implementing data governance.

Responsibilities
  1. Enhance business ownership for data by involving business areas in the work.
  2. Establish a single trusted source for Master & Reference data and consolidate relevant data from multiple domains and sources.
  3. Eliminate alternative data sources by capturing key business needs.
  4. Create product visions describing the target state for the data in the new source.
  5. Develop robust but flexible business data models for each data area and harmonize the data.
  6. Establish data governance and implement data governance recipe for the new data source.
  7. Set up data quality assurance for the new data source.
  8. Set up data life cycle management for the new data source.
  9. Simplify and automate related E2E business processes together with business areas.
  10. Exposure data to consumers via standard API/Kafka interface.
  11. Retire irrelevant data and find a new home for data that will not be under MDM team responsibility in the future.
