Job Overview

Bruker Business Support Center Sp. z o.o., a leading analytical instrumentation company, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Specialist to join their team at the Bruker Business Support Center (BSC) in Warsaw, Poland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services in the general ledger for internal clients around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Processing: Record and pre-close transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Account Analysis and Reconciliation: Analyze and reconcile accounts, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Closing Books: Close books and perform post-closing activities with precision and attention to detail.
  • Financial Reporting: Support financial reporting by ensuring accurate and timely data.
  • Master Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting master data.
  • VAT Declarations: Prepare VAT declarations efficiently.
  • Ongoing Duties: Perform other duties as required to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • General Ledger Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in general ledger, preferably with US GAAP knowledge.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting.
  • Linguistic Skills: Effective communication in English is essential; knowledge of German, French, Italian, or Spanish is a plus.
  • Skill Set: Advanced proficiency in SAP ERP and MS Office Suite, including Excel expertise.
  • Initiative and Decision-Making: Ability to work independently, take ownership of initiatives, and make informed decisions.
  • Organizational Skills: Self-reliant, ability to escalate appropriately, and open-minded to change.
