Job Title: AI Frameworks Software Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AI Frameworks Software Developer to join our team at Intel. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and deploying new AI use cases for Intel Client platforms in the image classification, speech recognition, and natural language processing arenas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions based on architecture and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI hardware accelerators into software systems.
  • Develop and maintain software kernel libraries and OpenVINO plugins.
  • Work with best-in-class AI hardware accelerators using state-of-the-art software technology to deliver unequaled AI solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in programming
  • Excellent C++ programming skills and any one of the following C/C#/Python/Bash/Makefiles
  • Computer architecture experience and proven record contributing to large-scale, multi-component software systems.
  • Strong production software engineering background, experience with CI, code reviews, paired programming, unit and integration testing
  • Experience with OpenCV library and/or OpenVINO development toolkit
  • Experience in one the following: compiler technologies, computer vision, numerical modelling, high-performance computing, deep-learning frameworks or algorithms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to create software designs based on architecture and requirements.
  • Experience in development of graph-based algorithms, production solutions based on graph coloring, maximum cut, shortest path, etc.
  • Experience in programming for DSPs
  • Ability to clearly communicate concepts and problem statements in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience demonstrating problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in AI hardware accelerators, VPU, GPU, heterogeneous architectures software development.
  • Embedded systems experience and real-time operating systems.
  • Experience in developing drivers.
  • Experience in LLVM/MLIR.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances, the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
