Product Owner - Digital Product Development

Vantive is a new company built on our legacy in acute therapies and home and in-center dialysis. We are on a journey to separate our ~$5B Kidney Care segment into a standalone company. As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in defining and supporting the building of valuable, feasible, viable, and usable products that meet customer needs over the lifecycle of the product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define plans and goals for your product and team, communicating and building consensus to meet established outcomes.
  • Plan how the product will be implemented to maximize value.
  • Be accountable for prototypes, flow diagrams, use case documents, story maps, and mockups to help visualize and describe the feature of the product.
  • Identify potential technology options and complete IT cost assessments with support for IT architecture resources as needed.
  • Define features and continuously force prioritization with the Product Manager to identify the right initiatives to focus on and add to the product roadmap.
  • Accountable for the delivery of features as prioritized by the Product Manager, with constant advisement on value versus effort and fit to the roadmap.
  • Play a lead role in process governance, harmonizing processes and the underlying system solution whenever possible.
  • Work with technical architects and engineers to define technical solutions and enablers in line with functional and non-functional requirements and process flows defined.
  • Integrate upcoming enabler work such as architecture, data privacy, security, regulatory, and compliance into the backlog with the Product Manager.
  • Leverage survey results, interviews with users, and data/analytics and insights to continuously improve and scale your products and employ product strategies.
  • Be a constant change champion for new ways of working.
  • Report progress and status in terms of business and customer outcomes.
  • Support internal change management teams and external marketing teams to drive adoption and deliver products to market.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with greater than 5 years of experience in digital/technical product ownership.
  • Prior experience with commercial products such as customer relationship management, marketing, quoting/contracting, and pricing.
  • Proficiency in conveying and collaborating around the development of desired functionality, particularly with cloud applications.
  • Strong understanding and working experience with Agile approach, with SAFe (Agile at scale) approach a plus.
  • Design thinking awareness, proven analytical and problem resolution skills, solid digital/technical skills foundation, and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience in working in regulated environments (i.e., privacy/compliance).
  • Customer-centric and empathetic with excellent written and oral communication skills.
