Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for cloud operations and infrastructure engineering to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of engineers focused on cloud infrastructure development and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud infrastructure with software development and testing processes.
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in cloud infrastructure technologies and tools.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to achieve peak performance and career growth.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience with an advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Cloud Operations/Cloud Infrastructure Engineering preferably in a multinational organization.
  • 7+ years of experience leading and developing engineering program focused teams of 50+.
  • Experience in leading and developing firmware, server applications, and transitions from server to cloud applications.
  • Technical Expertise: A strong background in full-cycle software development and maintenance within a product-centric environment. Solid understanding of contemporary software technologies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Polish (C1+ level proficiency) to effectively convey complex ideas and vision.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to mentor and coach direct reports, empowering them to work effectively and achieve peak performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An MBA degree is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current state-of-the-art software development and test methodologies and tools.
