F-16 Quality Control Inspector Job Description

Job Summary:

As an F-16 Quality Control Inspector at AAR, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the maintenance and inspection of F-16 aircraft. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of F-16 aircraft to ensure compliance with technical orders and performance work statements.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in inspection processes.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to develop and maintain an effective quality control program.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of inspection activities and quality control metrics.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Eight (8)+ years' experience on F-16 aircraft, with DEPOT experience preferred.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in a QC capacity required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A&P License preferred.
  • Experience supporting a Government agency preferred.

Work Environment:

This position is located OCONUS in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and requires occasional flight line operations, hangar, and/or aviation field environment.
