Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Structural Repair Specialist to join our team at AAR. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing structural repairs and modifications on F-16 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural repairs and modifications on F-16 aircraft, including sheet metal fabrication and installation.
  • Work closely with other mechanics and maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of repairs and modifications.
  • Read and interpret technical documents, including manuals and blueprints, to determine repair requirements.
  • Develop and implement repair plans to restore aircraft structural integrity.
  • Ensure all work is done in accordance with specifications, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A&P License or specialized aircraft structural repair course completion desired.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft structural repair, with F-16 experience preferred.
  • 1-year full-time field service experience in the last 3 years.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
Working Environment

This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds to waist level and 30 pounds to shoulder height. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
