About the Role

This FP&A operations specialist role supports the local country FP&A team in various tasks, including monthly performance reviews, quarterly forecast processes, annual budgeting, and the long-range plan. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive business decisions and optimize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • This position will coordinate closely with plant finance teams to review projections, budgets, and historical results.
  • Ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly reports, forecasts, and the annual budget / strategic plan preparation.
  • Supporting the delivery of comprehensive monthly reporting packages for management, including monthly reviews of budget vs. actual results and variances with P&L/cost centre owner, etc.
Requirements
  • Analyst with a demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 5+ years of relevant experience with financial planning and reporting within ISC/Manufacturing Finance.
  • Expert in technical and financial knowledge, including an understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles.
  • Person with excellent analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Specialist in financial modelling and experience in statistical modelling techniques is a plus.
  • Experience with VBA, JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, and Cognos would be assets.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
