Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Backend Java Engineer to join our team and help us scale our next-gen consumer finance platform.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing well-structured, testable, and reliable REST APIs;
- Developing new and refactoring existing functionality to meet business requirements;
- Contributing to technical architecture discussions and documentation;
- Collaborating with the product team and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- +5 years of experience in Java development;
- Strong Java skills, with knowledge of Groovy and Kotlin a plus;
- Proficiency in Spring Boot/Grails for REST API development;
- Experience with Hibernate, MySQL, and MongoDB;
- Familiarity with AWS, Amazon SQS, and Git;
- Knowledge of REST API design, CI, and TDD/BDD;
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities;
- Effective collaboration in cross-functional teams;
- Commitment to writing clean and efficient code;
- Fluent in Ukrainian, Belarusian, or Russian;
- English at level B1-B2.
