Job Title: Senior Java Developer Lead

At HSBC Service Delivery, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer Lead to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Java-based applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of Java-based applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets the highest standards of quality

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Java development, including Java 17 and Spring Boot
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
