Triumph is seeking an experienced Senior Global Indirect Tax Consultant to join our Corporate Finance Department in Warsaw.

The ideal candidate will have a solid finance and accounting background, specializing in Indirect tax and VAT in an international setting.

You will be responsible for providing expert indirect tax guidance, supporting business stakeholders, and collaborating with IT departments to ensure seamless implementation of tax solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Indirect Tax support for various initiatives, conduct research, and analyze financial data\
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, working closely with other countries' Finance teams\
  • Drive continuous improvements in different processes, actively participating in the implementation of a global VAT governance tool\
  • Support cross-functional teams addressing global VAT digitalization requirements\
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining and improving indirect tax processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy\
  • Serve as a liaison between the tax department and various business units, fostering effective communication and understanding of tax-related needs\
  • Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions\
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of indirect tax processes and procedures\
  • Work closely with IT teams to implement and enhance tax technology solutions for automation and efficiency\

  • A university degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, Economics, or equivalent\
  • At least 5 years of progressive work experience within the area of Finance and Accounting with subject matter expertise in the field of Indirect tax/VAT, VAT fillings, VAT compliance reporting, and VAT solutions in SAP ERP\
  • ERP SAP experience is mandatory\
  • Any experience with Indirect tax from countries outside of the European region is an advantage\
  • Experience with VAT automation and compliance, familiarity with tax engine and tax compliance tools is an advantage\
  • Fluent communication skills in English (both oral and written) are required\
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, desired knowledge of Alteryx and Power BI\
  • Effective listening and communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills\
