About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team at Roche. As a key member of our Architecture Chapter, you will play a crucial role in shaping and elevating our organization's technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop a well-thought-out architecture comprising a digital core and state-of-the-art solutions integrated with this core.
  • Support Roche's transformation by making decisions and architecting composable, scalable, and cloud-ready solutions.
  • Collaborate with system and solution architects to ensure alignment with business and IT strategies.
  • Drive the research and examination of new technologies to innovate and evaluate next-generation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain the IT landscape, ensuring it enables business capabilities and supports current and future directions.
  • Guide and coach implementation teams and solution architects on technical architecture implementation activities.
  • Continuously collaborate across and among architecture groups and product teams to adjust and evolve architecture guardrails.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Profound hands-on experience in architecting and implementing software solutions and managing architecture on a portfolio level.
  • Functional expertise in SAP ERP modules, S/4HANA, and SAP Cloud Solutions Business Technology Platform.
  • Broad and strong experience in SAP ERP architecture with solid technical and architectural skills in different domains.
  • Experience in commercial process areas, such as Order-to-cash, customer service, subscription, and billing management.
  • Lean-Agile mindset, seeking existing reusable building blocks to shorten design and increase speed of delivery.
  • Strong passion to bring value-adding technology to the business.
  • Strong understanding, embracing, and actively acting in VACC roles depending on the situation.
  • Ability to apply systems thinking and consider both dimensions: within and across portfolios.
  • Strong soft skills, including presentation, public speaking, negotiation, challenging the status quo, and explaining complex matters in a simple way.
