About the Role
We are seeking an experienced High-Performance Power Electronics Engineer to join our Power Electronics team in Krakow, Poland. As part of this team, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge power electronic converter platforms for various grid and DC applications.
Job Description
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and prototyping electronic circuits for use in power electronic converters;
- Developing PCBA designs for analog and digital circuits, including high-current PCBAs;
- Supporting a fast, iterative design process within a cross-functional team using rapid prototyping and lab mockups to close learning loops and achieve results quickly;
- Establishing and maintaining measurement and test setups to verify performance, efficiency, and robustness;
- Contributing to solving technical challenges related to EMC/EMI, thermal management, and safety.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field;
- At least 5 years of professional experience in designing electronic circuits, preferably analog electronics, gate drivers, or power electronics circuits;
- Proven experience with development processes for power electronic converters or power supplies;
- Competency in working with laboratory equipment and converter prototyping and testing;
- Ideal candidates will have experience with simulation tools like Spice, SIMetrix, Simulink, or PLECS, as well as understanding of control theory for power electronics applications;
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies;
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of approximately €70,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, pension plan, and opportunities for career growth and professional development in a dynamic international environment.
