We're looking for an individual with a keen eye for composition, a deep understanding of environment art principles, and excellent communication skills to guide their team towards creating exceptional game environments. Your expertise will ensure consistency in art style and quality across all projects.
In this role, you'll work closely with our production team to set timelines, prioritize tasks, and make data-driven decisions to meet project goals. You'll also be responsible for mentoring junior artists, sharing knowledge, and driving innovation within the team.
Your portfolio should showcase your ability to create high-quality environment assets using various software such as 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, Zbrush, Photoshop, and Substance Painter. A strong understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR) systems and techniques is essential for this position.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality, detailed environment models and textures for AAA games
- Collaborate with designers to develop map layouts and establish standardized metrics
- Guide junior artists in best practices and share knowledge through workshops and tutorials
- Contribute to the development of new tools and pipelines to improve efficiency and quality
