About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Service Engineer Propulsion to join our team in Poland. As a key member of our Field Service team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our customers, ensuring their propulsion systems are running efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field service activities according to the work plan, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Conduct overhauls and repairs on propulsion assemblies on site and/or in workshops, adhering to Wärtsilä's quality and safety standards.
  • Interact professionally with customers during work execution, providing excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Monitor and report on the status of work orders to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve service delivery, leveraging best practices and industry expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery, aligning with Wärtsilä's values and goals.

Requirements

  • A safety-first mindset, with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Marine or mechanical engineering background, with relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Technical expertise in propulsion systems, with a focus on problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Polish and strong English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information.
  • Ability to travel, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
