This role involves providing support to the purchasing process and function. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and launching RFQs, converting purchase requisitions to purchase orders, and creating ERP system contracts.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring open/new purchase requisitions
- Preparing comparative statements
- Managing system claiming tickets
- Running periodic or ad-hoc reports as requested by Cluster/Team Leader
- Ensuring proper systems, procedures, measurements, and quality control standards are in place
- Data management and anomaly identification
Requirements
- Experience in a shared services organization
- Experience with IT systems, preferably Microsoft D365
- Contract administration experience
- General MS Office knowledge
- Good knowledge of English
- Knowledge of an additional European language, an asset
