About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Partner Manager to join our Global Merchant & Network Services team. As a key member of our Partner Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing key merchant recruitment and processing partners in Poland and other Central and Eastern European countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with current external recruitment and processing partners in CEE, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Engage with new and existing partners to articulate strategy and drive growth through targeted merchant industry verticals and geographies.
  • Liaise with marketing and partner teams to ensure effective coverage goals and best practices are shared and employed.
  • Deliver training to partner sales teams on the American Express Value Proposition and how to grow Amex acceptance with prospective Merchants.
  • Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met, working closely with compliance and partner teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Align with internal business stakeholders across the American Express matrix organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the external acquiring landscape, anticipating changes and deploying appropriate actions.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of managing external partners and driving results through commercial relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize complex data into manageable actions.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external audiences across all levels.
  • Strong Process and Project Management skills, with experience of tracking task level activities.
  • Ability to build and leverage internal and external relationships with experience of working through a complex matrix structure.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and analytical prowess.
  • High degree of cultural sensitivity.
  • Fluent English speaker required, Polish extremely desirable.
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time.
