Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team at 7N Sp z o.o.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Structure and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement solutions that efficiently structure medical data, supporting clinicians in creating accurate medical documentation and streamlining patient visit workflows.
  • LLM Fine-Tuning: Enhance the quality of results from Large Language Models (LLMs) by applying various techniques, including fine-tuning LLMs for the medical domain.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare professionals and other team members to understand their needs, translate requirements into technical specifications, and evaluate the feasibility of solutions.
  • Tech Leadership: Provide technical leadership to team members, driving the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and methodologies from AI, machine learning, and NLP domains.
  • Technical Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and project success.
  • Ethical Practices: Adhere to ethical AI practices and data privacy regulations, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Clinical Domain Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of medical terminologies and clinical data models, driving informed decision-making and solution development.

Requirements:

  • Software Engineering Experience: Professional hands-on experience in software engineering, with a focus on NLP, generative AI, and general software engineering practices.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or Java, with experience in libraries used for interacting with LLMs (LangChain, AutoGen, LangChain4J, Huggingface, or vendor-specific libraries).
  • Deep Learning Expertise: Experience with deep learning models, especially Large Language Models, including fine-tuning, RAG, function calling, implementation, and optimization of models like GPT-4, Gemini, Claude, Mistral, PaLM 2, etc.
  • Production Deployment: Experience delivering LLM-powered applications to production environments, including observability and evaluation on productionalized applications.
  • Prompt Engineering: Strong experience working with Prompt Engineering and various prompting techniques (e.g., few-shot prompting) to enhance LLM's performance on specific tasks.
  • Machine Learning and NLP: Ability to deliver solutions from ideation until production, with a strong background in machine learning and natural language processing techniques and tools.
  • Cloud Platforms: Professional experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, focusing on cloud services related to machine learning and NLP.
  • Team Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional technical teams.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English.

  • Degree Requirements: M.Sc. or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent degree.
