In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering data protection solutions, as well as leading a team of professionals to ensure timely and successful implementation of backup infrastructure.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and develop and implement capacity planning and forecasting strategies to meet business needs. Your expertise in Backup/Restore processes and deep knowledge of IBM Spectrum Protect will be invaluable in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing data protection solutions using IBM Spectrum Protect and other tools
- Leading a team of engineers to ensure timely and successful implementation of backup infrastructure
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
- Developing and implementing capacity planning and forecasting strategies to meet business needs
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- At least 10 years of experience in data protection and business continuity planning
- Expertise in Backup/Restore processes and deep knowledge of IBM Spectrum Protect
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of 7-8 members
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
