Job Description:

The IT Support Specialist role is a key position within the Dover Corporation, responsible for ensuring the availability of IT services to users and production plants. As part of a global team of professionals in business-critical infrastructure systems and platforms, the IT Support Specialist will perform day-to-day activities to ensure IT services meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective support to users within SLAs, OLAs, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with IT colleagues, including Digital Applications, Dover Information Technology, ICT Security, and Infrastructure Services
  • Support strategic outsourcing partners on a daily basis
  • Monitor supplier performances and provide feedback to the service delivery manager
  • Emphasize continuous improvement in system and process designs
  • Create documentation, reports, and processes as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional IT experience in a substantial administration and support role
  • Knowledge and experience with ITIL
  • Strong understanding of IT support/infrastructure services in an enterprise environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, hands-on mentality, and independent working approach
  • Proficient interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Understanding of current and emerging technologies and supporting best practices
  • Thorough understanding of hardware/software contractual concepts
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience in supporting manufacturing plants
  • Basic knowledge of SAP GUI
  • High level of English and Polish language proficiency
