{"**Job Description**": "“At Allegro, we're looking for a skilled Big Data Engineer to join our Data & AI team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing a highly scalable and fault-tolerant data ingestion platform for millions of Allegro customers.” "

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Design and implement a hybrid data ingestion solution using a mix of on-premise and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like Spark, Kafka, Beam, BigQuery, Pubsub or Dataflow.
* Develop and maintain a scalable and fault-tolerant data processing architecture.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.

**Requirements:**

* Strong understanding of distributed systems, data storage, and processing frameworks - Spark.
* Experience with GCP (especially Composer) or other public cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala, Python or Java.
* Knowledge of good practices (clean code, code review, TDD, CI/CD).
* Ability to navigate efficiently within Unix/Linux systems.
* Positive attitude and team-working skills.
* Eagerness for personal development and keeping knowledge up to date.
* Knowledge of English at B2 level.
