Job Title: Big Data Engineer - Data Ingestion Platform

We are looking for a skilled Big Data Engineer to join our Data & AI team at Allegro. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing high-performance data ingestion platforms.

  • Design and develop scalable data ingestion platforms using technologies like Spark, Kafka, Beam, and BigQuery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the team's technical skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends and advancements in the field of Big Data.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in programming languages like Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
  • Experience in distributed systems and data processing pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and command-line interfaces.
