Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our Data Analytics team. As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and validating data transformation pipelines to create data models. You will also develop, maintain, and optimize the semantic layer architecture in dbt, ensuring accurate and efficient data modeling that supports business intelligence, insights, and analytical needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and validate data transformation pipelines to create data models
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize the semantic layer architecture in dbt
  • Collaborate across departments to apply our data strategy and corporate-wide data definitions
  • Take responsibility for delivering new data assets and enhancing the quality and functionality of existing ones
  • Promote the importance of upholding high-quality, easily maintainable data assets
  • Oversee and refine our CI/CD process to streamline the automated deployment of high-quality code
  • Develop test cases to guarantee the continuous delivery of accurate and reliable data
  • Document our data models, logic, and the raw data itself
  • Monitor our data and solve data quality issues
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of dbt (cloud or core) and experience with data modeling
  • Extensive experience in SQL, including data definition and data manipulation
  • Experience with data tools and platforms, including BigQuery
  • Experience with Python tools used in data engineering
  • Expertise in understanding business strategy and metrics
  • More than 3 years of experience in data-related roles such as data engineering or data analytics
  • Experience with test automation tools and Git
  • Experience collaborating in an Agile team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
