About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team in a Data Integration specialist position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data integration solutions using Java and Spring technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and modernization of our legacy data integration product
  • Collaborate with a self-empowered Scrum team to produce software using Agile principles
  • Design, write, and debug clean, tested, efficient code for data integration products
  • Profile and analyze performance-related topics using JProfiler, JMeter, or similar tools
  • Ensure full test coverage by writing and debugging automated tests
  • Handle release-related activities, including creating artifacts and deploying
  • Conduct thorough peer code reviews and contribute to design and quality discussions
  • Adapt to new technologies and change directions quickly

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience with Java programming language writing multi-threaded, high-volume, transactional code
  • Experience using Spring (Boot, Integration, Data, MVC), RESTful Services, Git
  • Expert understanding of Maven dependency management
  • Experience with releasing software and automating CI processes using Jenkins
  • Hands-on experience profiling applications, analyzing performance, and discovering and resolving potential performance pitfalls
  • Well-versed in developing automated tests for each layer of the testing pyramid
  • Solid understanding and practice of Agile software development
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and highly dynamic work environment
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
