Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team at GlobalLogic. As a key member of our SaaS metrics team, you will play a critical role in defining and championing software as a service metrics for our portfolio of software products.

About the Role

  • Design and develop product and feature health metrics and monitoring visualizations using your expertise in SQL, PowerBI, and Python.
  • Collaborate closely with software product managers, designers, and engineering stakeholders to answer mission-critical questions and drive business intelligence.
  • Advise on data instrumentation needs and work with data engineering and product developers to ensure successful implementation.
  • Translate data into insights through retrospective analysis of key metrics and make recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Deliver presentations on analysis results and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • +5 years of experience in customer/client-facing analytics roles.
  • +5 years of experience in SQL.
  • +3 years of hands-on experience in PowerBI.
  • +3 years of experience in Python.
  • +2 years of experience in Databricks.
  • Experience with deriving a narrative from data and communicating results effectively.
  • BA/BSc degree required with a technical focus (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Engineering).

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity working in a notebook-based workflow (Jupyter, Zeppelin, etc.).
  • Work experience in cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for software development and the automotive industry.
